Important News From Nations Capitol Promoter David Grogan

To all my bodybuilding & fitness friends...

I am sadly announcing the cancellation of the June show and my
retirement from the Physique/Fitness promotions business. I extend my
deepest apologies for any inconvenience  that this untimely announcement
may have caused for those competitors preparing for the June show. 
Unfortunately, this cancellation is due to circumstances beyond my
control.

For more than personal reasons, I have decided to step away from this
business. When I began promoting shows, I often reflected on my
career as a competitor realizing how much hard work goes into the
preparation i.e dieting, training, posing, etc,  Thus I have always
felt we (competitors) deserve first class treatment, upscale venues
to compete in and a well formatted production.  Because I am so
passionate about this industry, I chose to personally provide 98% of
the funding in order to support such a venue.  Now that the DC area
is oversaturated with shows, not only do I no longer have an interest
in risking the financial loss but I simply can not afford to do so.

All in all this business has been great to me. I have met some
phenomenal people and had some wonderful experiences.  It is however
time for me to focus on other endeavors.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who participated in
my show, staff competitors, family, friends, sponsors etc.  Without
your cooperation and participation I would not have been able to
successfully maintain one of the largest, most popular competitions in
this area and for that experience I am grateful.

For those who were preparing for my former June 4th show, I recommend
